Pool Noodle Float

-Objective:

To calmly lay on a bed of pool noodles and be pulled around the pool.

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Non-Locomotor

  • Lying

-Equipment List:

  • 30 pool noodles per player.

-Equipment Link:

-Setting Up:

  • Place 30 pool noodles in a row.

  • A player lies on the side of the pool deck and turns over landing on top of the pool noodles.

-Instructions:

  • A partner pulls the player around the pool.

  • Could make a race of it with several players lying on pool noodles...

  • What are the keys to staying afloat?
