One-Hand Push-Up

-Objective:

To determine how many one-handed push ups a player can complete.

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Non-locomotor

    • Push Up​

-Equipment List:

  • A pool noodle per player

-Setting Up:

  • A player places a pool noodle immediately below their head in a push up position.

  • The player then pulls one of their hands off the floor so that only one hand is doing the push up.

-Instructions:

  • Using only one hand to push up, a players attempt to lower their bodies and touch a pool noodle with their nose.

  • If successful, try repeat as many times as possible.

-Questions & Notes:

  • Variation

  • Use knee push ups to make it a little easier.
