-Questions & Notes:
-
Safety considerations:
-
Make sure teams are far enough apart that they do not inadvertently hit players from other teams who may be gathering a misplaced ball.
-
-
Instructional tips:
-
Accuracy is critical and then speed.
-
Can prescribe a certain throw–chest pass, bounce pass, overhead pass, and baseball pass, and may insist on a good throwing being one that is caught in the air or after only 1 bounce.
-
-
Variations:
-
Triple Pass Wall Relay: The same as Throw to a Wall Relay except that each player does 3 consecutive passes to self before the next player gets the ball.
-
Kick to Wall Relay: The same as Throw to Wall Relay but used in Soccer with the ball kicked instead of being thrown.
-
-
As a cool-down:
-
Works well as a cool-down but may want to decrease the distance to the wall and add a few players per team.
