-Setting Up:

  • Teams of three players line up behind a starting line.

  • Numbered cones are spread out in a random order (with numbers facing away from the players) about 10+ paces from the starting line.

-Instructions:

  • The leader holds up and calls out the numbers of two playing cards (Jack is 11, Queen is 12, King is 13, and Ace is 1)

  • The players add up the cards (for example a 7 and a Jack (11) equals 18) and the first player in each line runs to find and tag the cone with the correct number (8 in the example).

  • The first player to do so wins a point for their team.

  • As soon as a number is found the leader holds up the next two cards.

  • Continue for a set time or till a team has a certain number of points.

-Questions & Notes:

  • Could make the challenge more difficult by using spots or topple tubes with numbers underneath.

  • Teammates should remember where certain numbers are, because the longer the game is played the more often the same number will appear.
