• Players are each assigned a square.

• The centre player is given a volleyball

• Determine an entry point to the square for extra players.

• Determine the order of advancement to the middle square.

• Players attempt to volley the ball into each other's square. 

• If a ball that enters a square is not returned into another square that player goes outside the square to the waiting line.

• Everyone else moves up one square. 

• The object is to get to the centre square so the ball is often volleyed to the centre square.
