-Objective:

Be the first team to serve to targets and get all your team to the other side of the net.

• One Volleyball for every other player (or as many as you have)

• One Volleyball net

-Equipment Link:

• Two teams of six players (number is not critical) line up on either end of a volleyball court.

• One player from each team sits in the middle of the court on the opposite side of the net.

• Divide the volleyballs equally between the two teams.

• On the leaders signal to begin, players begin to serve balls over the net and attempt to have their player catch their served ball.

• When a player's serve is caught, that player goes to the other side of the court and sits on the floor as well, and tries to catch served balls--the amoeba begins to grow.

• The first team to have all their players seated on the other side of the net, that team wins.

• Questions for Understanding:

• What tactics are important in serving at a player's target.

• How can seated players provide the easiest targets for the servers? Why?
