-Setting Up:
Players play rock-paper-scissors to determine who begins.
Each player is given an object to throw.
The first player stands at the beginning of the hop scotch course.
-Instructions:
The first player tossed his object into the first square.
Assuming the object lands in the first square, the first player leaps over the first square and lands with one foot in the second square.
The player then lands with both feet in each side-by-side square and on one foot in single squares.
When the player has gone through the course they return in a similar fashion but stop before the square with their marker in it, they pick it up, and complete the course.
This player can go again till a mistake is made, or the next player gets a turn.
When two or more players are playing then players cannot land on any squares with markers in it--this can become very challenging.
