Players move on boards to determine balance and use of fulcrums

A very permanent and fixed board on edge in the ground.
A strong length (3 metres...) of 2 x 12 board.
-Equipment Link:
-Setting Up:
Students place the 2 x 12 at different spots on top of the in-ground board.
-Instructions:
Students stand on the cross board and try to find a position of balance.
-Questions & Notes:
Variations:
Have more than one player on the horizontal board.
Move the board so that the fulcrum changes.

How does the fulcrum change the way to balance the board?
