-Objective:

For a player to not get tagged by the giant ball.

-Fundamental Movement Skills:

  • Locomotor​

    • Dodge

    • Run

-Equipment List:

  • One giant ball per game.

-Setting Up:

  • Half of the players form an inner circle facing out, and the other half of the players form an outer circle facing in.

  • A giant ball is placed between the inner and outer circle players--they can roll the ball between the circle of players.

  • One player is assigned as the It and stands between the circles opposite side of where the ball is.

-Instructions:

  • The It tries to run within the two circles and attempt to not get run down by the ball.

  • The players in the two circles attempt to move the ball between them in an attempt to tag the It with the ball.

    • What tactical moves can the It make to achieve success?​

    • What tactical moves should the circle players use to tag the It?
